Reigning and undisputed ONE women's atomweight submission grappling world champion Mayssa Bastos of Brazil cemented her status as the queen of the division with a repeat performance over American rival Danielle Kelly last weekend.
Bastos emerged with a unanimous decision victory in yet another close matchup against her arch-rival to retain the atomweight belt. However, the 27-year-old remained frustrated that she was still unable to submit to the tough and resilient Kelly.
Speaking to the media at the ONE Fight Night 26: Lee vs. Rasulov on Prime Video official post-fight interviews, Bastos said she felt 'a lot' of frustration despite catching Kelly in a very tight submission as time expired.
