Fans recently voiced their opinion on the latest update on Nate Diaz's lawsuit. Diaz appears to have changed his mind and declared that he would not be suing Fanmio after all.
It was previously reported that Diaz filed a lawsuit against Fanmio CEO Solomon Engel for failing to pay the $10 million that the former was promised for his July 6 10-round boxing match against Jorge Masvidal. The UFC icon alleged that even though he fulfilled his part of the contract, he was still due $9 million for the fight.
Engel justified the reduced payout by pointing to potential marital tension and financial challenges. However, he rejected the fraud and breach of contract allegations as "frivolous" and said that the Stockton native had received a seven-figure payment in a statement made public hours after the case was filed:
''Nate Diaz has filed a frivolous lawsuit against Fanmio which claims that fraud and breach of contract were committed by Fanmio, yet neither has taken place... I look forward to resolving this dispute through the appropriate process and am confident that justice will prevail.''

Nate Diaz opens up about his future following Jorge Masvidal fight
Nate Diaz is focused on taking his career down a new path and is prepared to face reigning UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards again soon. Diaz is coming off a majority decision win against old rival Jorge Masvidal in their highly anticipated boxing match earlier this month.
In the post-fight press conference, Diaz expressed his desire to avenge one of his UFC losses. He stated that his next opponent would be Edwards, whom he had lost to at UFC 263:
"I would like to get a win against Leon Edwards, who's the best fighter in the world right now at 170. I think that's what... that's something major who's going to bring something that I can take and put in a credential box. That's what I'm going for.''
