Deen The Great will defend his Misfits Boxing lightweight title (135 pounds) at MF & DAZN X Series 17 against David 'Yogurty' Fogarty in the latter's home country.

Over the past two years, few influencer boxers, if any, have been more successful than Nurideen Shabazz, also known as Deen The Great. In five promotional fights, the 23-year-old has separated himself from the rest with wins against 'Sharks,' x2, 'Ayye Pap,' 'Pully' (KO), and 'Evil Hero' (KO).

Deen The Great now faces a different type of challenge when Misfits Boxing travels to the 3 Arena in Ireland for MF & DAZN X Series 17. The lightweight king will defend his throne as a massive favorite against Fogarty, an Irish fighter with a smaller social media platform and amateur MMA experience in IMMAF.

Fogarty is relatively unknown in the influencer boxing world. With that said, he has a massive opportunity to dethrone Deen The Great and build his brand through fighting. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old lightweight champion can further legitimize his resume with a win against an experienced amateur MMA opponent.

MF & DAZN X Series 17: Deen The Great vs. Fogarty

Round 1:

Deen The Great vs. Fogarty is underway. Both fighters start the fight looking to establish their jabs. The Irish crowd is electric right now. Deen lands an overhand right to start opening things up. He finds success with the same punch.

Deen is finding a home for the overhand right. Fogarty is pumping out his jab, but Deen bounces in and out of range. Fogarty has begun pushing Dean back and building off his combinations. This matchup will come down to Fogarty's length against Deen's speed.

Fogarty's jab has taken over this round. Deen seems slightly uncomfortable in the final moments of round one. Tough frame to score.

Round 2:

The second round begins with the fighters clinching. Deen goes down to the body and mixes things up to throw off Fogarty. Deen has showcased his superior power, but Fogart's timing and experience are making this a close matchup.

Deen's body punches are starting to add up. Fogarty's jab hasn't been as successful as round two. Deen's speed is a major problem for Fogarty. It'll be interesting to see if he can maintain this pace.

Fogarty is all over Deen. Fogarty lands a barrage of punches and turns the tides. Deen is in trouble. Fogarty is landing EVERYTHING right now. Fogarty's toughness and poise are flipping the script. Deen finds a home for the overhand right again to end round two.

Round 3:

Deen The Great attempted to move forward before being pushed back by Fogarty's jab. Deen landed two more overhand rights, temporarily throwing off Fogarty's game plan. Fogarty's straight punches are finding the target quicker than Deen's looping punches at times.

Deen is starting to show some fatigue. Fogarty is all over him. Deen counters with an overhand right and follows up, dropping Fogarty in shocking fashion. The fight continues. Fogarty can't get out of the way of Deen's overhand right. Fogarty is on wobbly legs with less than thirty seconds in the round.
