MF & DAZN X Series 18: Elle Brooke vs. Jenny Savage: Full video highlights

Elle Brooke vs. Jenny Savage took place at MF x DAZN X Series 18 at Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle, England today. The bout served as the main event and was contested for the Misfits Boxing women's middleweight championship.

Brooke entered the bout with plenty of confidence as she most recently fought former UFC competitor Paige VanZant to a split draw this past May. Before the bout against '12 Gauge', she earned a third-round knockout win over AJ Bunker to capture the MFB women's middleweight championship.

Savage, on the other hand, has her fair share of combat sports experience in both MMA and bare-knuckle boxing and has recently competed under the BKFC banner. Despite her combat sports experience, it's important to note that she was making her boxing debut against Brooke.

There was a noticeable adjustment Savage needed to make as Brooke used her experience to her advantage by closing the distance early and forcing her opponent to the corner, where she unloaded powerful body strikes.

The Brit continued to maintain control by limiting Savage's activity as the fight progressed. She then mixed up her combinations and landed a powerful hook to the head. The bout went the distance and saw Brooke earn a unanimous decision to successfully retain her title.

After Elle Brooke successfully retained her MFB women's middleweight championship, there will definitely be no shortage of appealing matchups.

Brooke had an impressive performance and expressed interest in a rematch against former UFC competitor Paige VanZant should she return to Misfits. Another interesting future matchup could be against Ebanie Bridges, who happened to be in attendance and shared her thoughts on her performance during the broadcast.
