MF & DAZN X Series 18: Elle Brooke vs. Jenny Savage: Live round-by-round updates

Jenny Savage plans to dethrone Elle Brooke in the MF & DAZN X Series 18 main event to become the new Misfits 125-pound women's champion.

There haven't been many women, if any, who have had more success in the influencer boxing scene than Brooke. The 26-year-old has fought six times between Kingpyn and Misfits, establishing a record of 4-1-1.

On Saturday night, Brooke has an opportunity to secure her first 125-pound title defense due to her last fight against Paige VanZant being scored a draw. To do so, she must take out promotional newcomer Jenny 'Savage' Clausius.

Clausius doesn't come from the same combat sports background as Brooke. Instead, 'Savage' started as a professional MMA fighter (3-4) before transitioning to bare-knuckle boxing, where she gained a reputation for being an entertaining warrior under the BKFC banner (3-3).

The 31-year-old decided to test herself in unproven territory by signing a fight contract with Misfits Boxing. 'Savage' looks to utilize her combat sports experience and relentless aggression to overwhelm Brooke for an upset win.

Round 1

Elle Brooke vs. Jenny Savage is underway. Brooke is slowly pushing back Savage with feints. Brooke lands a quick body shot and quickly gets out of distance. Brooke's ability to move in and out of range is creating problems for Savage early.

Savage is throwing out some punches but nothing significant has landed. Brooke finds a home for a straight right for the most damaging punch of the round.

Round 2

Savage opens the second round with a solid jab. Brooke's ring control has been solid, but she's not landing many punches. Brooke is moving forward and temporarily trapping Savage in the corner, not much damage is being inflicted.

Brooke's body punches are adding up. Savage needs to make a change.

Round 3

Savage is increasing her volume but can't seem to track down Brooke. Brooke lands a clean left hook, she's starting to let her hands go more. Brooke goes down to the body and comes up top with a hook, beautiful combination.

Savage fires back with a straight left. Brooke is starting to capitalize when Savage is against the ropes. Savage lands another straight left that lands flush to end the round. We have ourselves a fight.

Round 4

Both fighters are feinting with their jabs to start the round. Savage is gaining confidence and starting to time Brooke's entries. Savage has not stopped smiling the entire fight. Savage lands another straight left. The tides are turning.

Brooke tries to unload short-distance punches, Savage escapes the situation. This is the best round so far for Savage. Everything is landing now for Savage.

Round 5

Both fighters exchange straight punches. Savage lands cleanly again, the damage is piling up. Brooke is trying to let her hands go, but Savage is getting out of the way. Savage goes back to the straight left and lands cleanly.

Savage is doing a phenomenal job of landing and then getting out of the way. Savage likely taking this round too. We're going to the scorecards.
