Idris Virgo and Fes Batista will square off in the semifinals of the one-night 175-pound Misfit Boxing's Stake Pro Tournament.
On Saturday, Sept. 14, Misfits Boxing will travel to the Vertu Motors Arena in Newcastle, United Kingdom for an event featuring three title fights. Before the women's champions defend their respective straps, seven other matchups will take place, including a tournament featuring Virgo and Batista.
Virgo is a former 'Love Island' UK contestant who holds a professional boxing record of 12-0-1. Over the last year and a half, the 31-year-old has crossed over into the influencer boxing scene and quickly made a name for himself by defeating Anthony 'PrettyBoy' Taylor and Aaron Chalmers.
'The BodyBreaker' now looks to further separate himself by winning the Stake Pro Tournament. Virgo's first challenge in the semifinals comes against Fes Batista, also known as Mohammed Faisal. Batista fought twice as a professional in 2015 and 2018, both decision wins against Lawrence Purifoy (0-9).

In January, Batista made his Misfits Boxing debut against Ben Williams, with Williams winning by unanimous decision. To be fair, Williams has become one of the biggest rising superstars in the influencer boxing scene. Nonetheless, Batista plans to shake off the loss and secure an upset win against Virgo.
