Michael Bisping recently admitted to using religion to unsettle Vitor Belfort ahead of their 2013 encounter. The Englishman was known for his ability to trash talk and antagonize his opponents and certainly used that to his advantage.
Despite his efforts, the former UFC light heavyweight champion went on to earn a third-round TKO win over the former 'TUF' winner. In addition, Belfort's head-kick would later result in Bisping losing his right eye.
Bisping miraculously continued to compete with one eye while also keeping it a secret from the commission and went on to win the UFC middleweight championship.
The Brazilian had been among the fighters who were granted a TRT exemption, which was controversial prior to the UFC's partnership with USADA. During his latest appearance on JAXXON PODCAST, 'The Count' noted that he was unaware of 'The Phenom' being on any PEDs at the time despite his physique but he was aware of how religious he was.

Bisping disclosed that he took their final faceoff as an opportunity to play mind games. He mentioned that he brought Belfort's faith into it as a way to rile him up, leaving host Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson stunned:
"We were on the scale and I should've known looking back, you know, I mean, I don't look like a bodybuilder. Vitor [Belfort] walks over looking like fu**ing Mr. Universe. I just said, 'Vitor, come here'. He says, 'What?' I said, 'Jesus isn't real', you know, just to fu*k with him...That's the perfect person to say it to."

Listen, we all knew what we were doing, we're all fighting, we're grown men. We know what we signed up to. There's no ill will, I'm happy."
