Michael Bisping applauded Joe Rogan, giving him credit for inspiring the creation of Petr Yan's memorable father-son moment after the Russian fighter's victory.

On Nov. 23, at UFC Fight Night Macau, Yan delivered an incredible performance against Deiveson Figueiredo in the main event bantamweight bout. 'No Mercy' secured the victory via unanimous decision.

During the post-fight octagon interview, a heartwarming moment unfolded as UFC commentator Michael Bisping leaned the mic toward Yan’s son, who said, "I’m very happy that my dad won."

One fan shared this iconic moment on their X account, thanking Bisping. The former UFC champion noticed the post and reshared it, praising Joe Rogan for inspiring him, writing:

“When I saw his son enter the octagon I had to ask him a question. I always remember @joerogan doing the same thing with @calpolkidSF and I’ll never forget that special moment.”

Rogan, considered one of the finest commentators and interviewers in MMA, is known for creating iconic moments inside the octagon.

One such moment occurred at UFC 264 when Conor McGregor injured his ankle during his fight with Dustin Poirier. In the post-fight interview, despite McGregor’s injury, Rogan sat down on the floor next to him to conduct the interview, offering a rare and intimate moment in UFC history.

Joe Rogan claims 'Mainstream media is dead’

Joe Rogan runs one of the biggest podcasts, with 18.6 million listeners on YouTube and 14.5 million on Spotify. His podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), has played a significant role in the rise of podcasting, becoming a dominant platform for long-form interviews and unfiltered discussions. Rogan's influence extends beyond his UFC commentary, making him a key figure in the podcasting world.

In a recent episode of JRE with comedian Dave Smith, Rogan discussed why mainstream media is dying, stating:

"Think of the difference between 2016 and 2020 and then 2024. Podcasts. Huge. Way different. They all listen to podcasts. Everybody gets clips. You hear opposing perspectives, You hear very intelligent people come on and make arguments that you're not hearing on TV anymore. Mainstream media is dead. That's a wrap, son."
