Former UFC champion Michael Bisping has denied the use of performance-enhancing drugs during his UFC career.

A Twitter user claimed that several fighters used loopholes in the USADA testing system to cheat and use PEDs.

'The Count' replied to the tweet by saying that he never indulged in such activities during his active days as a fighter.

Michael Bisping has a strong stance on the use of PEDs. In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, 'The Count' accused Vitor Belfort of using banned substances and called him a cheater. Bisping added that he had no respect for fighters who indulged in this banned activity.

“Rapsheet, steroid, hypocrisy, and more steroids. This guy is the biggest cheat in the history of combat sports… Listen, we’re not putting a ball in the basket, we’re not trying to kick a ball into the back of the net, we’re trying to knock our opponents unconscious. And if you know you’re taking steroids all the time, then I’ve got no respect for you whatsoever. You’re not respecting the sport, you’re not respecting yourself, you’re not respecting your opponent, you know the buying public. It's dangerous. It's disgusting. And I've just got no respect for it whatsoever."

Bisping shared the octagon with Belfort in January 2013. 'The Count' came up short that night and lost the fight via TKO in the second round.

Michael Bisping believes Jon Jones to be the number one pound-for-pound fighter

Michael Bisping believes that former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who will return to action at UFC 285, deserves the top spot in the UFC's pound-for-pound rankings. 'The Count' interated the same during a video on his YouTube channel.

"That title [pound-for-pound No.1 fighter] belongs to a man that returns next week to the octagon. And yes, of course, I'm talking about Johnny 'Bones' Jones. Okay, he's been out of action for a while. Three years away from the octagon, we know this okay, but that's the guy."

What makes Bisping's choice for the pound-pound-best fighter interesting is the fact that during his UFC career, Jones has tested positive multiple times for using banned substances.

Thus, considering his staunch stance on the use of PEDs, Bisping's comments could raise some eyebrows in the MMA community.
