"The fight is going to be sensational. This is not an easy fight for McGregor. Far from it. McGregor's always had the self belief that he's one of the best fighters that history has ever seen and certainly he did that. He did make history. The biggest star. Two weight division champion at the same time. The first one to ever do that, but he's had a fall from grace. So what? No big deal."

The UFC commentator continued:

"Michael Chandler, he hasn't won his fights recently either, but he has been nothing but excitement inside that octagon, and them two against one another, you know this is going to be a crazy fight. Michael Chandler just has something about him that he has an easier path to victory. He is a tremendous wrestler, but he doesn't really use it."

Bisping added that the fight has the potential to be the Fight of the Year, and that The Ultimate Fighter will add more hype to the bout. He noted that Chandler's best path to victory is by utilizing his wrestling.

Michael Bisping speculates if Conor McGregor's party habits will influence Michael Chandler bout

Conor McGregor will spend several months in Las Vegas ahead of his bout with Michael Chandler as the pair are set to coach season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter. UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping speculated that this could affect the former double champ's training camp, stating:

"He's got to get fit. He's got to get in shape and he's got to stay focused. McGregor is a man that likes to party a little bit. So what? That's his personality type. He's going to be in Vegas for a while. Will he be training the whole time? Maybe. Maybe not. We don't know. What we do know, for sure, is that this fight will guarantee to be sensational."

While Bisping expects a back-and-forth war between McGregor and Chandler, he added that he believes the former double champ could retire if he loses. The UFC commentator did, however, share that he believes a victory will earn the UFC's biggest star a title opportunity.
