Michael Bisping has put forth his unfiltered reaction to Kevin Holland's heated conversation with Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and its fallout. The former middleweight champion appeared to suggest that Holland would be wise to steer clear of potentially fighting the retired MMA great.
Holland was submitted in his most recent fight, a middleweight bout against Reinier de Ridder at UFC 311 (Jan. 18, 2025). Prior to the defeat, 'Trailblazer' had recently gotten into a verbal altercation with Quinton Jackson on the latter's JAXXON podcast.
On former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping's Believe You Me podcast, Bisping and fellow ex-UFC fighter Paul Felder addressed Holland's behavior toward Jackson. Felder suggested that he didn't like how Holland brought up guns and hurled implied threats and jibes Jackson's way.
Bisping concurred and explained that he remembers being around that age and having a chip on his shoulder. 'The Count' indicated that 'Rampage' was admirably "restrained." Felder too agreed and speculated that Jackson did get an aggressive look in his eyes and probably thought about wringing Holland's neck.

The 32-year-old Kevin Holland has competed at welterweight and middleweight as an MMA fighter. Meanwhile, the 46-year-old Jackson has mainly competed at light heavyweight and last fought at heavyweight in MMA. Alluding to the size difference, Bisping stated:
"'Rampage' might be 45. He's twice the size of him, and he's a beast. Let's just leave it at that."
Recounting a past training incident with Jackson, Bisping explained:
"I could tell you some stories when we used to train together. The man, trust me, he's got that switch in him. He was training for a fight; I forget which one. Somebody did a spinning back-fist and kind of connected with the elbow. But it might have cut him open a little bit. He freaked out. He was going to kill the guy."
"Tyson Jeffries jumped over the top of the cage because the cage door was locked, so it didn't open, and he couldn't get out with his gloves on. He jumps over the top of the cage and runs off down the street in his bare feet. You know what I mean? 'Cause 'Rampage' was gonna kill him. So, you know, don't poke the bear too much."

The feud between Kevin Holland and Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson
The rivalry between Kevin Holland and Quinton Jackson originated after Jackson made a joke about the face-off hand gestures made by Holland and Michael 'Venom' Page heading into their welterweight bout at UFC 299 (March 2024).
During the pre-fight ceremonial weigh-in face-offs, Page, true to his 'Venom' moniker, made a snake gesture and raised his right hand. Holland raised his left hand and cordially clutched Page's hand.

Many fans opined that Kevin Holland's recent appearance on the JAXXON podcast could've turned into a brawl. Nevertheless, things didn't escalate, and their feud was restricted to a verbal back and forth.
The legendary Quinton Jackson recently signaled that he could potentially box against longtime rival Rashad Evans in 2025. Meanwhile, Holland is on a two-fight losing streak, and his next opponent and comeback date are yet to be revealed.
