Michael Bisping reacted to Khabib Nurmagomedov's humble offer to Paul Hughes.
On Saturday, January 25, the PFL Road to Dubai Champions Series event ended with Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov defending his throne against Hughes.
Nurmagomedov openly admitted to underestimating Hughes and almost paid the consequences, as he narrowly retained his title by majority decision (48-46 x2 and 47-47).
Following the entertaining bout, Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was in the corner of his cousin Usman, took to Twitter and had this to say:

"Thank you for the fight @paulhughesmma and for the experience, I invite you and your whole team and family to Dagestan, any time you want, believe me you will like it and your arrival will serve as a good example for many young generations"
Michael Bisping responded with the following message regarding Khabib's generous offer:
"Class act."
Usman Nurmagomedov's title defense against Paul Hughes extended his professional MMA record to 19-0. The 26-year-old later turned down Hughes' request for an immediate rematch, claiming that the Irishman needs a few more wins.

Many fans and fighters believe Paul Hughes deserved to have his hand raised against Usman Nurmagomedov. The controversial result combined with the overall entertainment value of the fight could lead to an immediate rematch for Hughes.
Earlier today, Hughes went on Twitter and responded to Khabib Nurmagomedov's offer for him to train in Dagestan:
"Thankyou @TeamKhabib I have great respect for you, your team and your nation. I would be honoured to take you up on this offer someday and then return the favour in Ireland But please, only after I get to rematch Usman."
Paul Hughes became a highly touted MMA prospect during his time in Cage Warriors, where he's a former featherweight champion. Hughes later moved up to lightweight and signed with Bellator, which was bought out by PFL in late 2023.
Hughes has since validated his hype with impressive performances against Bobby King and former Bellator champion A.J. McKee Jr. Despite losing against Usman Nurmagomedov, the Irishman earned more respect from people worldwide.
