Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping took a dig at football while watching the Premier League game between Manchester United and Liverpool on Sunday. Bisping, who is a lifelong United fan, tuned in as they took on their biggest rivals and league leaders Liverpool.
'The Count' took to X where he posted when the score was still 0-0. Bisping wrote:
"And this is why I don’t watch football. Giving the Man Utd vs Liverpool game a go. 34 minutes in and 0-0. Some lovely passing of the ball though (lauging emoji)"
Since his tweet, the game took a dramatic turn. The match was closely fought and it finished 2-2, with both teams having enough chances to win it towards the end.

Michael Bisping says he retired due to the fear of losing his second eye
In a recent episode of the JAXXON PODCAST, Bisping revealed the real reason behind his retirement. According to Bisping, he retired due to complications in his left eye after losing permanent vision in his right one. With permanent blindness looming over 'The Count', he took the decision to make an exit from the sport.
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson told Bisping he would have never fought if he was in his condition. Bisping replied:
"Well, that's why I retired, because I almost lost my second one. So, it was after a fight, I was in China, Shanghai. And then we went to the after-party, and I know the symptoms of a detached retina. It started off, you know how restaurants are dark, I'd be at a restaurant and I couldn't see my hand there. And Damian, a buddy of ours, would be like, 'Oh, look, he's doing that thing again with his fingers."
Bisping added:
"And then eventually, it got to the point where I was here. So, then I Googled it, and I called up a doctor and I said, 'I think I've got a detached retina.' And they say, 'Well, why do you say that?' I said, 'Well, when I wiggle my fingers in front of my face, I can't see them.' And they go, 'Yeah, you might want to come in, right now.' So then when I went in, they're like, 'Yeah, you've got a detached retina."
