Michael Chandler recently came clean on whether he would like to fight Conor McGregor or go for a rematch against Dustin Poirier. Chandler's response showcased that he wanted the big-money fight over facing one of the most respected lightweights on the current UFC roster.

McGregor's last UFC encounter came against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. The devastating shin-bone break he suffered in this fight sent him into a hiatus from which he hasn't returned yet. But a look at the pay-per-view (PPV) sales figures of his fights indicates that he can still make his rivals a staggering amount of cash.

Chandler expressed his interest in facing McGregor for the first time at UFC 274 after knocking out Tony Ferguson with a forward head kick. But he has been waiting for McGregor's return since 2023.

The UFC authorities had scheduled the McGregor vs. Chandler encounter as the headliner of UFC 303. But a toe injury forced McGregor to pull out of the fight at the eleventh hour. 'Iron' reminded the UFC world about his wish once more by calling out McGregor after his defeat against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309.

"If you had to choose, fight Conor or get the rematch vs Dustin?"

Chandler gave out the most expected answer with a single word. He penned:

"Conor"

Conor McGregor ordered to pay staggering amount of money to Nikita Hand once more

Conor McGregor was recently judged liable for assaulting Nikita Hand in a Dublin-based hotel in 2018. A civil court in Dublin ordered McGregor to pay €250,000 to hand in damages. Multiple business ventures also cut their ties with McGregor following the verdict of this case, resulting in massive losses for the Irishman.

However, several recent reports mentioned that the court has now ordered McGregor to give away €1.5 million more to Hand to cover her entire legal costs related to this case. But the Irishman hasn't backed out from his point that the entire affair was 'consensual'.
