UFC lightweight fighter Michael Chandler believes Conor McGregor will engage in trash-talking with him in the lead-up to their upcoming clash set to take place later this year.
'Iron' recently appeared on ESPN MMA's SportsCenter to discuss his impending role as a coach on UFC's 'The Ultimate Fighter' show opposite Conor McGregor. Michael Chandler, who will also fight McGregor in the TUF season finale, addressed the Irishman's trash-talking abilities. The UFC lightweight contender stated:
"We've loved Conor becasue he's interesting, because he's interested. Rest assured he's doing his homework right now on me. He knows how many times I've lost, he knows who I've lost to, he knows right now in what former fashion I have lost."
The former lightweight title challenger further added:

Conor McGregor's reputation as one of the best trash-talkers in MMA is well-known and deeply ingrained in his persona. He has honed his skills as a master of mental warfare and often uses his quick wit, confidence, and bold personality to gain a psychological advantage over his opponents.
Throughout his time in the UFC, McGregor's trash-talking has become a hallmark of his pre-fight preparation, and his bold statements and insults have created some of the most memorable moments in the promotion's history. Using his powers of persuasion, McGregor has established himself as a force to be reckoned with both in and out of the octagon.
Conor McGregor digs into his inner Steve Jobs
Conor McGregor has launched a humorous advertisement for his whisky label Proper Twelve in which the Irish UFC superstar mimics Apple's announcement ceremonies.
McGregor hasn't stepped foot inside the cage since his catastrophic leg-break fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021, and it appears he's recently focused on Proper Twelve.
The Irishman remarked in an amusing advertisement:
"Ladies and gentlemen, every once in a while a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything."
Throughout the video clip, McGregor appears to be wearing a black turtleneck, identical to what Apple co-founder Steve Jobs used to wear, while he mocks the tech titans' presentation technique.
'The Notorious', who hasn't fought in over two years, is gearing up to return to the octagon after it was announced that he'll be a coach on the new TUF season against Michael Chandler.
