Michael Chandler has just taken to X/Twitter to share a teaser for his expected bout with Conor McGregor. According to 'Iron's' recent tweet, the clash is potentially set to take place in December at UFC 310. The UFC has not made any official announcement regarding the bout.
Additionally, neither has McGregor, who is currently focused on his dealings with the BKFC. Regardless, Chandler's tweet is monumental, if true. The MMA world has been awaiting his next bout since his late 2022 loss to Dustin Poirier. Moreover, fans are eager, rabid even, for McGregor's octagon return.
So, it is only natural that fans flocked to Chandler's tweet, forming a thread under it where their aggregate reaction to the teaser was shared. One fan criticized Chandler for sitting on the sidelines for a fight that may likely never happen.

Michael Chandler has been linked to a fight with Conor McGregor since 2023
After knocking out Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 on May 7, 2022, Michael Chandler punctuated his win with an emphatic callout of Conor McGregor in his post-fight interview. Later in the same year, Chandler succumbed to a third-round submission loss against Dustin Poirier.
Thereafter, the pair were linked to a bout, which was confirmed in early 2023, when it was revealed they would film 'The Ultimate Fighter 31' together.
The two lightweights starred as opposing coaches on the show, which featured some tense moments between them, including a near-brawl. Unfortunately, an official fight has yet to take place, despite massive fan anticipation.
