Michael Chandler recently revealed that he hasn't given up on the Conor Mcgregor fight despite all the fiasco in its materialization. 'Iron's' revelation came after McGregor appeared in an interview with 'The Schmo' and expressed his desire to settle their unfinished business.
UFC fans have been waiting for the McGregor vs. Chandler fight for over a year now. The 31st season of 'The Ultimate Fighter' featured 'The Notorious' and 'Iron' as the opposing coaches. However, despite the UFC's tradition of pitting the 'TUF' coaches against each other after the season, the McGregor vs. Chandler encounter never materialized.
Dana White and co. had also scheduled the fight for UFC 303. But Chandler started looking for a different rival after McGregor pulled out of it due to an injured toe. 'Iron' currently has a fight booked against Charles Oliveira for UFC 309, but he couldn't resist the temptation, now that McGregor had expressed his willingness towards the same.
Replying to a tweet featuring McGregor's comments, Chandler tweeted:

Conor McGregor also has other fighters on his radar apart from Michael Chandler
Conor McGregor's interview with 'The Schmo' clarified that the Irishman is still rooting for the fight against Michael Chandler. But 'Iron' is far from being the only one on his radar. The 36-year-old mentioned a few other names who could be his next rival. Well, McGregor may have left it there during this interview.
However, in a previous interview with Duelbits, McGregor provided another potential opponent. 'The Notorious' said he would love the opportunity to fight Belal Muhammad with his UFC welterweight gold on the line (via Championship Rounds):
"Belal McGregor UFC Welterweight World Title Fight... I do damage at 170, yea... This man [Belal] hasn't even got a knockdown in UFC history. Not one knockdown. It's embarrassing to be honest."
