Another feud looks to be brewing in the UFC, with Michael Johnson responding to Jamahal Hill in a social media post. This began after Hill bashed Johnson for his comments about the former champion's confrontation with Alex Pereira.

For context, Hill confronted Pereira at the UFC PI in December 2024 which was followed by the Brazilian throwing a pair of gloves at him and challenging 'Sweet Dreams' for a fight. However, Pereira's MMA coach Plinio Cruz intervened to calm the situation.

This incident prompted reactions from the entire MMA community, including Johnson who chastised Hill for his behavior in a conversation with BKFC star Mike Perry on his OverDogs Podcast. In response, Jamahal Hill took to X and hurled harsh words at the UFC veteran, writing:

''Gang u a bitch and you one of the biggest clowns and pu*sy’s on the roster. They keep u around to get slept by debut fighters!!! I’ve made more money than you and you been here 3x as long so I would expect you to know the money game! Find out what it is when I’m on that time frfr.''

Johnson responded back by writing:

''Lol. We’re not gang and I was just speaking facts. Work on your grammar a bit before talking sh*t! I don’t go on social media talking sh*t. You know exactly where I train if you have something to say to my face, you’ve been there before!''

As for their recent octagon outings, Hill clashed against Pereira at the historic UFC 300, in hopes of reclaiming his light heavyweight title. However, he suffered a devastating knockout defeat in the opening round. He is scheduled to face former champion Jiri Prochazka at UFC 311 on Jan. 18.

Meanwhile, Johnson secured a second-round knockout victory against Ottman Azaitar at UFC Tampa.

Jamahal Hill says he's ready to get back in title contention

With a possible victory over Jiri Prochazka at UFC 311 next year, Jamahal Hill will have a chance to return to title contention.

Hill addressed his injuries and loss to Alex Pereira in a recent interview with WOOD TV8, stating:

"I don't like to make excuses, but was I 100 percent where I needed to be as far as the injury goes?...So, what happened, happened. My takeaway from that is just be more gritty as a competitor...I'm feeling better. I'm feeling closer to where I was pre any of the injuries. It's all starting to come back together and come back into form and I'm just excited to get back in."
