Mike Perry is no stranger to trash talk. While he isn't always an instigator, he always has his hand on the trigger, and a recent conversation with former UFC middleweight Darren Till saw the pair squabble as they often do, with the Englishman issuing threats of extreme violence.
The two rivals spoke on Perry's OverDogs Podcast in a video call. While their conversation had an initial tone of tense respect, it quickly devolved into trash talk and threats. Till was the first, criticizing Perry's historically poor defensive striking and his overreliance on toughness.
"You're very tough, you know I respect you and commend you. But you're stupid because you get hit too much and you can't take that for so long. That's not good, and let me just tell you on a realer side, I'm hitting the hardest I've ever been hitting. If I hit you, I won't knock you out. I'll savagely put you in a f**king coma."
Till's promise to leave Perry comatose brought out a dismissive response from 'Platinum,' who compared his own activity to the Englishman's inactivity.

"Do you buy the sh*t you're selling? Cause you ain't f**king done sh*t in a while. You talking big game, but you ain't been doing sh*t. I've been winning and I take hits like candy."
Naturally, Till continued to bring up Perry's overreliance on toughness before propping up his own defensive striking skills. This, however, prompted a cutting rebuttal from the BKFC star.
"Bullsh*t. Dricus du Plessis was ground-and-pounding the sh*t out of you."
Check out the exchange between Mike Perry and Darren Till:
Dricus du Plessis, who currently reigns as the UFC middleweight champion, was the last fighter to hand Till a loss, booting him from the promotion. Thereafter, Till has been inactive, although he seemed primed to take on influencer boxing star Tommy Fury in a boxing match that ultimately fell through.
The rivalry between Mike Perry and Darren Till has a history
Mike Perry and Darren Till were both once promising UFC welterweights with undefeated records and knockout power. While they eventually floundered, a bizarre feud formed between the pair, with something of a friendly undertone. It peaked when Till created a website purely dedicated to trolling Perry.
In the website's partner section, every link featured Till's face, edited over other prominent MMA figures, and redirected anyone who clicked them to Perry's knockout losses.
