Mike Perry and Conor McGregor have expressed respect and criticism for one another over the years. Well, 'Platinum' has now addressed a detailed statement posted by McGregor's business associate regarding a recent development in his legal battle.
Nikita Hand accused McGregor and his friend James Lawrence of se*ually assaulting her at a Dublin hotel in December 2018. The case couldn't proceed in a criminal court due to insufficient evidence. In November 2024, a jury deemed Lawrence not guilty and McGregor liable for assault in a civil lawsuit.
Conor McGregor vowed to appeal the civil court verdict. McGregor's longtime partner, Dee Devlin, lambasted Hand and suggested that the CCTV footage featuring Hand, McGregor, and Lawrence would enlighten the public about the UFC megastar's innocence.
Per Sunday World, Italian entrepreneur, Gabriel Ernesto Rapisarda -- McGregor's business associate who helps distribute the MMA legend's Forged Irish Stout in Italy -- addressed the topic earlier this month (January 2025). Like many McGregor supporters, Rapisarda indicated that the CCTV footage be released to the general public.

Per the BBC, Justice Alexander Owens of Ireland's High Court subsequently ordered that there's "no need" for McGregor to possess/disseminate the CCTV video. Owens implied that given McGregor's mammoth social media following, it could be "misused" on the internet.
Approximately 40 minutes in length, the footage also comprises McGregor and Hand in an elevator before and after the alleged assault. Owens also referenced that McGregor recently questioned the jury's verdict. He deemed that McGregor should return the footage to his solicitor and delete any copies he possesses.
Well, Gabriel Ernesto Rapisarda took to Instagram and posted an image captioned:
"CCTV Don't Lie ... Kiss My Italian A**"
An excerpt from Rapisarda's statement read:
"The question is: how many people want to see the video of Nikita and James in the elevator and how many instead agree to hide and delete forever this video which can give to the public the opportunity to understand and judge the events that actually happened?"
Rapisarda alluded to Hand's legal counsel's injunction to prevent the footage's release. He noted that it's his personal opinion, but he's weighed in because Hand's counsel, in the court, referenced his recent remarks. Rapisarda re-emphasized that a judge shouldn't deprive millions of people of their right to assess the footage.
Mike Perry, who's no stranger to Conor McGregor, took to Rapisarda's post's comments section and wrote:
"Oh we gotta see the video"

Mike Perry's BKFC jibe at Conor McGregor
Ex-UFC welterweight and longtime BKFC star Mike Perry was knocked out by longtime Conor McGregor critic, Jake Paul, in a professional boxing match in July 2024. McGregor, a BKFC co-owner, then lambasted Perry and claimed he'd fired 'Platinum' from the BKFC. Well, after McGregor's civil lawsuit loss in November 2024, Perry jibed at him, tweeting:
"You're fired"
Nevertheless, BKFC president Dave Feldman has steadfastly supported Conor McGregor. Also, Perry speculated about whether McGregor was falsely accused by Nikita Hand. The former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion was ordered to pay approximately $257k in damages and over €1.5 million in legal fees to Hand.
Furthermore, McGregor has promised to return to combat sports competition, potentially in a boxing match against Logan Paul in India this year.
