Mike Perry shared his thoughts on the sexual assault allegations and the court case against Conor McGregor. Known for his brash and outspoken personality, McGregor has been embroiled in several controversies in recent years.
Recently, jury found the Irishman liable for a sexual assault that allegedly took place in December 2018. According to reports, the victim claimed that McGregor directed the frustration of his loss, presumably the UFC 229 defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov, at her.
In her testimony, she claimed that McGregor choked her before the sexual assault to make her understand how he felt before he had to "tap out three times" in the UFC octagon.
Perry raised his doubts about the legitimacy of the victim's allegations due to this specific part of the testimony. During a recent appearance on the Champ and The Tramp podcast, he said:

"There's one tweet that said that [Conor McGregor] was like, 'Now you know what it's like when I was down three times in the octagon' and everyone was [suspicious]. Conor is not talking sh** about himself, bro."
Perry, while admitting that he does not have enough knowledge of the incident to give a clean chit to McGregor, added:
"We all wanted to be famous fighters but then you reach a certain level or pinnacle and then you're running into these demons, I guess."
Allegations of sexual misconduct can negatively impact a person's life. Speaking further, Perry called for stringent action against women if the allegations made were proven false. Addressing United States President-elect Donald Trump, Perry said:
"[Donald Trump], you've got to hear this, man. People are saying it all the time. These women should be tried with the same charge that they're trying to hit these people with."

The court ordered McGregor to pay €248,000 to the victim. Meanwhile, McGregor has denied the accusations and maintained that he was engaged in a consensual sexual encounter with the victim, Nikita Hand. At the moment, he is not facing any criminal charges.
