BKFC King of Violence champion and former UFC welterweight Mike Perry provided his prediction on the upcoming rematch between Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan for the UFC lightweight title. The two will lock horns once again in the main event of UFC 311 in Inglewood, California weekend.
In a recent episode of his Overdogs Podcast on YouTube, 'Platinum' made his pick on the high-profile title fight, with additional points to support his claim.

"I think these guys are gonna a hell of a fight. Two Russians going at it. They know the same sh*t from Dagestan. I gotta go with the champ, Islam Makhachev, because if you don't beat the champ, the champ takes it."
Perry was quickly corrected by his co-host, Mac Mally, that Arman Tsarukyan is not Russian or from Dagestan - he's Armenian, like UFC bantamweight champion. Perry hilariously replied with:
"Same thing."

Aside from Islam Makhachev vs Arman Tsarukyan, Mike Perry also predicts Jiri Prochazka vs. Jamahal Hill
It seems the final segment of their hour-and-a-half podcast was dedicated to predictions of upcoming fights. Aside from the Islam Makhachev vs. Arman Tsarukyan main event, 'Platinum' also provided his insights on the much-anticipated light-heavyweight bout between former champions Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill.
The three-round main card battle, which will be between two men to fell to the current champ Alex Pereira, is largely deemed to be a title eliminator. If not, it would undoubtedly bring the winner closer to a shot at gold again, at the very least.
Perry said (1:22:18):
"Look, Jiri [Prochazka] is scary. But he broke. Twice in a row [against Pereira]... That's the difference maker, right? I guess if I just make a pick, I'm going USA, I'm going Jamahal Hill. I wanna see him come back. Even though he didn't take the gloves from Pereira when he offered him to spar."
For those who aren't aware of what Perry was talking about in his final sentence, it was referencing an incident that happened between Hill and Pereira at the UFC Performance Institute. Hill approached Pereira as the latter was hitting pads and started talking trash. 'Poatan' grabbed another pair of gloves and violently threw them in Hill's direction, urging the American to spar right then and there.
However, Hill didn't pick up the gloves and simply continued talking trash as people started separating him and Pereira.
