Mike Perry recalls police "racially profiling" him while driving, Kevin Holland urges ex-UFC star to "fight that sh*t"

Former UFC fighter Mike Perry recently shared his experience of alleged "racial profiling" during a traffic stop, sparking a conversation about systemic issues and legal recourse.

During a discussion, Perry recounted the incident, stating:

"Speaking of them racists cops. You know them cops was racial profiling me. The internet is just saying that they was, you know pulling me over, driving while black."

Perry’s account drew a response from UFC middleweight Kevin Holland, who urged him to challenge the incident in court:

"DWB? you need to go and fight that sh*t in court for real. Tell them I don't think I got a DUI, I think I got a DWB"

In response, Perry revealed he had already accepted a plea deal:

"I think I have accepted a plea on that just so we can get it going. I think I'm currently on probation."

Mike Perry challenges Robbie Lawler to bare-knuckle showdown

Mike Perry has his sights set on a marquee matchup for 2025, calling out retired former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.

The challenge was issued Saturday night at the BKFC Hollywood event in South Florida, with Lawler seated ringside.

Perry has become a standout in bare-knuckle boxing since leaving the UFC in 2021. He remains undefeated in the BKFC with a 5-0 record, although his recent foray into traditional boxing resulted in a TKO loss to Jake Paul in July.

Perry said:

"Who should face me next? I see Robbie Lawler in the crowd and I think he should take the gloves off, and he should step inside the square circle against 'Platinum' Mike Perry"

Lawler retired from MMA in July 2023 after a first-round stoppage of Niko Price at UFC 290.

The former UFC welterweight champion, renowned for his thrilling wars and title reign from 2014 to 2016, boasts victories over legends such as Rory MacDonald, Carlos Condit, and Nick Diaz.
