Mike Perry has voiced his suspicions about Jake Paul's recent weight gain ahead of their upcoming boxing match.
Perry is scheduled to face the YouTube star-turned-boxer on July 20. Originally slated to fight heavyweight legend Mike Tyson, Paul has bulked up significantly in recent months. With the Tyson fight pushed back, Perry will face a much larger Paul at cruiserweight.
In a recent interview with FightHub TV, Perry addressed Paul's physical transformation, hinting at potential performance-enhancing drug (PED) use. Perry referenced a sparring session from a few years ago where Paul was noticeably lighter.

“When I sparred him a couple years ago, I was 180 and he was 195, maybe 205, I think he was about to fight Ben Askren [at 190], I don’t think he was really cutting weight at the time. And so to put on 25 pounds, I don’t know how someone does it without a cheat code.”
Despite his suspicions, Perry maintains a nonchalant attitude:
“It doesn’t matter to me... I could just be saying that just to mess with him. He does look flubbery.” [H/t: MMA Mania]

Mike Perry reveals his tactics going into the boxing match with Jake Paul
Mike Perry isn't offering Jake Paul any breathing room when they collide this month.
Perry, a former UFC fighter now competing in bare-knuckle boxing, has long desired a showdown with Paul. He believes his recent success can translate into victory and has identified Tommy Fury's win over Paul as a potential roadmap.
Speaking to Morning Kombat recently, 'Platinum' had this to say about his upcoming opponent:
"I'm going to hit him and he's not going to like it... Im going to chase him around the ring, I'm going to make him tired and keep that pressure on him. In training it's not about what he does... In training it's not about what he does; I don't watch tape, I really don't. Maybe my people do, but if I watched anything it would be highlights from the Tommy Fury fight... It was a close fight but Tommy beat him." [H/t: Mirror UK]
