Jake Paul is now set to face bare-knuckle star Mike Perry in a boxing match on July 20. According to BKFC president David Feldman, who facilitated the bout, 'Platinum' stands to earn more money from boxing 'The Problem Child' than he has ever made in his career.

He said as much on the Show Me The Money podcast, which was hosted by UFC lightweight Renato Moicano. A clip of the interview has been making the rounds on Instagram, and if Feldman's claim is true, then Perry will earn his career-best purse for fighting Paul.

Though when asked by Moicano for an exact figure, Feldman declined to disclose it.

"I can't tell you that, but I will tell you that he's making more money than he's made in, I don't want to throw the UFC under the bus, but triple the money that he made his whole UFC career."

Check out David Feldman talk about Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry:

'Platinum' replaces heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson as 'The Problem Child's' opponent, with 'Iron Mike' having been forced to withdraw on the advice of his doctors. Despite his grit and aggression, the BKFC star is still expected to lose to Paul, who aims to face Tyson at a later date.

Nevertheless, Perry is planning on doing more than just securing a big payday. He intends to beat Paul come fight night, reclaiming the honor of MMA, given the number of MMA fighters 'The Problem Child' has beaten in various boxing matches.

Perhaps his most impressive win was a unanimous decision over the legendary Anderson Silva.

Jake Paul's brother was linked to Mike Perry first

Before Jake Paul was scheduled to take on Mike Perry, 'Platinum' served as the backup fighter for the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis boxing match. There were fears ahead of the bout that Danis would withdraw from the fight like he had with his bout against KSI. Thus, 'Maverick' and Perry had a face-off, just in case.

Fortunately, Danis did not pull out of the fight, and went on to get outworked by the elder Paul before losing via disqualification after failing at a takedown and guillotine choke: both illegal moves in boxing.
