'Platinum' recently faced off against Jake Paul in a boxing bout, which saw the former Disney channel star knock Perry down three times before finishing him in the sixth round.

Following the former UFC star's loss, Conor McGregor took to X to seemingly "fire" Perry from BKFC.

Mike Perry has since responded to McGregor's claim, shrugging off the idea he had lost his job. Speaking on the OverDogs podcast, Perry said:

"I'll tell you what, when people want to watch BKFC again, they’ll be calling me. They're already calling me, but I'm not taking calls at this time... He’s my employee!"

#2. Dustin Poirier reveals Khabib Nurmagomedov purchased his UFC 302 fight kit to help his charity

Dustin Poirier has revealed that Khabib Nurmagomedov purchased his UFC 302 fight gear to support his charity, The Good Fight Foundation.

Poirier, who set up the charity with his wife Jolie in 2018, auctioned off his iconic floral shorts and gloves from his clash against Islam Makhachev, which saw 'The Diamond' lose via fifth-round submission.

According to Poirier, who was speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, the former UFC lightweight champion reached out and offered to buy the ring gear for $30,000. He said:

''Somebody outbid the last bidder at the last minute and didn't pay. People do that all the time, people suck, man... Ali [Abdelaziz] reached out to me, Khabib wants to buy it.''

#1. Tom Aspinall reveals he once wanted to quit MMA to focus on boxing

Tom Aspinall recently defended the interim heavyweight title for the first time when he put away Curtis Blaydes in the first round of their co-main event clash at UFC 304.

Aspinall's win not only cemented his status as one of the top mixed martial artists in the world but also saw him climb up to the No. 9 spot in the UFC's pound-for-pound rankings.

According to Aspinall himself, however, he nearly gave up on his MMA dream entirely in 2016. Speaking to BoxNation that year, the-then 23-year-old stated he was considering a switch to boxing due to financial troubles. He said:

"Yeah, that's right, it's not my first day. I've actually been coming quite a bit to do the sparring, but it's my first day that I've decided to focus solely on boxing, but it's time to learn the trade now. I've been doing MMA for a long time. I've been struggling to make it pay financially and just not getting many rewards from it because I'm struggling to get fights, so it's time to switch over and do the boxing."
