Mike Perry certainly knows how to get under an opponent's skin and into their head. The former UFC welterweight recently picked his nose and then rubbed his finger on the expensive coat of his next opponent Luke Rockhold during their ceremonial face-off ahead of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) 41.

The two MMA veterans are set to square off in a 185-pound bout on April 29, which takes place April 29 at 1STBANK Center in Denver. Ahead of the event, Perry and Rockhold came face-to-face for a presser and had some heated words on the mic. When they later turned and faced the crowd, 'Platinum' appeared to dig his nose and wipe his finger on Rockhold’s fancy black and white coat.

In an interview with Helen Yee, the BKFC middleweight unabashedly joked about the odd antics as a way to promote the fight. When questioned if he wiped his nose dirt on Rockhold's coat, Mike Perry said:

"Yeah. His jacket was a Mont Clair, and he's got a little Platinum boogey on it. I made sure I got that one on there. You know, I try to promote."

The BKFC 41 fight card is also expected to host the bare-knuckle boxing debut of former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, taking on former featherweight title contender Chad Mendes.

Luke Rockhold goes off on Mike Perry ahead of their showdown at BKFC 41

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold recently went in on Mike Perry and trashed the 31-year-old Michigan native for his last few performances and his disappointing run in the UFC.

In a recent interview with Morning Kombat, the former UFC middleweight champion dissed 'Platinum' and revealed his commitment to boxing. He said:

"This is a different game. You're stepping up into the big leagues when you're fighting me. There's a reason why you never f***ing made it to the top of the game in the UFC. But now, all I've been doing is working on my boxing."

Rockhold seemingly retired from combat sports following his bloodbath loss to Paulo Costa at UFC 278 last year. However, after attaining free agency status earlier this year, the MMA veteran revealed he was far from done.

Meanwhile, Mike Perry is trying to overturn a difficult run in the UFC, where he went 1-4 in his last five bouts. He has found success in the BKFC and his hard-fought decision wins over Julian Lane and Michael Page last year garnered him considerable interest ahead of his showdown with Rockhold.
