Joe Rogan is a man of many talents, a popular stand-up comic, an MMA commentator, and an avid hunter among other things. However, of all these, what made the 57-year-old a household name is his hit podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). E
During episode #2235 of his podcast, Rogan hosted American television host Mike Rowe, leading to an eye-opening conversation about the secret that fueled the unmatched success of JRE.
As Rogan sees it, the driving force that propelled his podcast was his natural curiosity and interest in talking to people. During the segment, the UFC sportscaster asserted that podcasting feels "simple" for him since talking to people is something he enjoys doing regardless.

"Just because it's simple, right? You make it sound like a parenthetical. 'Oh it's just a conversation, that's only just the hardest thing there is to do."
However, Rogan doubled down pointing out that:
"It's not really [hard]. [More people don't do it] because they don't enjoy it... Some people genuinely don't like talking to people. You know why? Because they are interested in themselves. You have to be interested in other people... I am curious as to how someone with different biology, different life experiences, different geographical locations... how are they navigating the world."

Joe Rogan tells Mike Rowe why he rarely keeps up with any sport besides MMA
Joe Rogan is one of the most popular MMA personalities in the world. But, this however seems to come with a major caveat. He doesn't get much time to enjoy other sports.
Talking to Mike Rowe on the JRE, the podcaster explained that he rarely keeps up with other sports since he is often busy updating himself with the latest developments in the plethora of disciplines that constitute MMA.
"I can only pay attention so much, my head is filled with combat sports. I have to follow jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, MMA in the UFC, MMA in the PFL, Bellator, ONE FC, I have to keep track of a thousand fighters... I might watch fights two hours every day... I do feel obligated to pay attention... You've got to be tuned into the state of the art... So to me, I don't have any room, I don't have any room for baseball."
