With the UFC BMF belt being resurrected for the upcoming UFC 291 pay-per-view, fans participated in a poll and chose Mike Tyson to present the belt to the new winner.
The BMF belt is a symbolic belt that was first introduced in 2019 for the UFC 244 headliner between Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. It stands for 'baddest motherf****r' and was presented to the winner of UFC 244's main event - Jorge Masvidal - by WWE superstar and actor The Rock.
Fans on Twitter debated on who should present the BMF belt this time around and were given three options by MMA On Point. Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger, WWE superstar and current CCO Triple H, and former boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.
Fans were overwhelmingly in support of Mike Tyson citing that the other two options were not even professional combat athletes.

Mike Tyson: Dana White talks about decision to revive UFC BMF belt
Dana White talked about the decision to revive the UFC BMF belt for UFC 291.
He mentioned that Jorge Masvidal's retirement freed up the belt to be contested again. He also spoke highly about Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje, the two headliners for the UFC 291 fight.
“Masvidal retired, so we put the BMF up. You have no idea how many of these fighters want to fight for the BMF title. They all want to fight for that belt, so it’s fun, it’s different. So, we’ll do it again... These are the two right guys for that, too. Whether that thing’s in play or not in play, that fight is what it is. But everybody wants that belt. So, what the hell?”
UFC 291 will take place on July 29, 2023 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
