Mike Tyson's reaction to Brendan Schaub's comment about Jon Jones has taken rounds on the internet eliciting a variety of reactions from MMA fans worldwide. Many responded humorously while some targeted Shaub for his remarks.

Schaub and co-host Tyson interviewed the then UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and talked about Ngannou's future on a past episode of the Hotboxin podcast. The American podcaster stated that he would like to see the potential Jones vs. Ngannou fight in Africa, and the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou boxing showdown in France.

During the conversation, Tyson asked, "Who is Jon Africa?" after seemingly failing to pay attention to Schaub's remarks regarding the possible Ngannou vs. Jones bout in Africa, causing everyone in the room to laugh out loud as the 41-year-old went on to clarify what he meant.

Schaub said:

Tyson interrupted and asked:

''Who the hell is Jon Africa?''

Francis Ngannou isn't concerned about the Jon Jones fight

Many in the MMA community expected Francis Ngannou to clash with Jon Jones at some point however that never materialized due to Ngannou's dispute with the UFC which saw him leave the promotion and join PFL, vacating the heavyweight title in the process. Jones eventually made his octagon comeback and captured the vacant belt by defeating Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 last year.

Jones successfully defended his title by defeating Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. In an interview with Seconds Out, Ngannou gave his take on 'Bones' win and their potential fight, saying:

''Great performance. I mean, that was a very great performance. I mean, from not being fighting for so long, didn't know exactly what to expect. But that was a testimony that he's still there...That's not my problem. I don't care about it anymore. If it happen, yes. If it doesn't, f**k it."
