ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci is looking to face the dangerous Adriano Moraes in a potential submission grappling match. Most notably, he wants the match in Brazil.
The American Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist recently explained that ONE Championship will be doing an event in Brazil. There, he wants to roll against 'Mikinho', a former ONE flyweight world champion.
In an interview with ONE, Musumeci said:
"I also would like to fight Adriano Moraes on the Brazil card for ONE. I know ONE's going to have their Brazil event. I know he's down to roll with me. So it would be awesome if we could go in the circle for ONE's first event in Brazil. I'm sure that you'd love that, too, and I speak Portuguese and I have a lot of Brazilian followers so it would be great for Brazilian fans."

Mikey Musumeci also added that 'Mikiho' has also requested this match. He continued:
"He's a black belt in jiu-jitsu also and he actually requested to have a match with me, multiple times. So I think we should just do it in Brazil. ONE is going to have their first card in Brazil this year, and I'm fluent in Portuguese and I have a lot of Brazilian followers also. So it would be great for the Brazilian crowd."
Adriano Moraes looking to reclaim his crown
Mikey Musumeci has gone a perfect 3-0 in submission grappling under the ONE Championship banner. Since arriving in the circle, he's defeated Masakazu Imanari, Cleber Sousa, and Gantumur Bayanduuren.
While a grappling match against 'Darth Rigatoni' sounds appealing, Adriano Moraes has a major fight coming up. The Brazilian athlete will be competing against his rival 'Mighty Mouse' Demetrious Johnson on May 5 at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video. The event is set to go down at the 1stBank Center in Colorado.
ONE Fight Night 10 will be ONE Championship's inaugural live event in the USA. The main event will feature Moraes challenging Johnson for the ONE flyweight world title and completing their trilogy.
In an interview with ONE Championship, Adriano Moraes explained:
"I would very much like to get my title back. I believe I was born to have this ONE Championship belt."
