Champions Mikey Musumeci and Rodtang Jitmuangnon not only shared the bright lights of ONE Championship’s recent successful United States debut, but also found time to bond after the event.
“Darth Rigatoni’ revealed to the Jiu-Jitsu Times that he and ‘The Iron Man’ shared a meal in the wee hours after ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, earlier this month in Denver, Colorado.
Mikey Musumeci said:
“He’s like a brother to me. When we both won our fights, everything was closed, so we just went to Denny’s to eat afterwards – like, we were both eating at Denny’s at 2 a.m.”

Mikey Musumeci and Rodtang have developed a special bond even though they are competing under different disciplines with ONE Championship.
In fact, the Italian-American champion helped the Thai superstar make weight and pass the hydration test safely for his world title defense at ONE’s historic debut live on-ground event in the U.S. on May 5th.
At ONE Fight Night 10, Mikey Musumeci successfully defended the ONE flyweight submission grappling world title after forcing Yemeni challenger Osamah Almarwai into submission with a rear-naked choke late in their 10-minute showdown.
It was the second triumphant defense for ‘Darth Rigatoni,’ which also saw him win a $50,000 performance bonus from ONE CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong.
Rodtang then followed suit as he also defended the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title after knocking out Mexican opponent Edgar Tabares in the second-round of their championship clash with a crushing elbow to the jaw.
The thunderous manner in which he ended the fight sent the packed 1stBank Center in Denver into a frenzy while also earning him a performance bonus amounting to $100,000.
