The two ONE world champions are set to go to war in a grappling super-fight, and the 28-year-old Italian-American superstar loves the monumental challenge.
'Darth Rigatoni' told Cageside Press in a recent interview:

"I'm just really excited for this challenge. The uncertainty, the doubt, can I do this? Can I overcome such an amazing competitor? There's no bad blood, there's no pushing or anything. Thank God, it's going to be good vibes."
'Darth Rigatoni' Mikey Musumeci will move up three weight classes to challenge ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo for his golden strap. If he wins, Musumeci will become a two-division ONE world champion.
The two lock horns at ONE 168: Denver, which broadcasts live from the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on Friday, September 6th.

Ruotolo is arguably the best pound-for-pound submission grappler in the world today and is at least three weight classes bigger than Musumeci. But that won't stop 'Darth Rigatoni' from going at him.
The Italian-American superstar told ONE Championship:
"My whole game is attacking. Like, I don’t know how not to attack. So I’m still planning to attack. I’m gonna go for the kill with Kade every second. It’s scary. It’s crazy."
