Elle Brooke was handed the first and only loss of her boxing career on July 15, 2023. She suffered a unanimous decision loss against Jully Poca of Brazil in the KingPyn Tournament: Semi Finals event.

Brookes, who held an unblemished 3-0 record heading into the fight, had a significant reach disadvantage and struggled to make entries. The Brazilian used the reach advantage effectively and steadily marched towards victory.

Brookes put forth her best effort but besides a huge punch that opened a cut on Poca's face, she could not land many impactful strikes on her opponent.

After five rounds of systematic beatdown, Poca had done enough to convince the judges, who scored the fight (50-45, 49-46 X 2) in her favor.

However, the setback did little to slow down Brooke's progress.

Elle Brooke bounced back by capturing the title in her next outing

Coming off the loss against Jully Poca, Elle Brooke faced former Love Island star AJ Bunker on the undercard of the Ed Matthews vs. Luis Pineda event on Jan. 20.

Brooke made her boxing debut against Bunker in July 2022 and was favored to win the rematch. The English boxer left no stone unturned to score a statement win and capture the Misfits Boxing's women's middleweight title.

Bunker, who seemed visibly exhausted in Round 3, hit the canvas after a huge right hand from Brooke. Although she answered the 10-count and got back on her feet, she appeared to be dazed. The referee called a stop to the action and Brooke became the Misfits Boxing women's middleweight champion.

Brooke will attempt the first defense of her title against ex-UFC fighter Paige VanZant in a crossover boxing match on May 25.
