Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo are set to fight for a record fourth time at this weekend's UFC 283. The first was called a draw, and the third fight went to a close decision with fans scoring the bout for either man.
With the fight taking place in the champion's home country of Brazil, Xtreme Couture MMA coach Eric Nicksick believes that the crowd could sway a potential judges' decision.
Nicksick took to Twitter to analyze the matchup and stated that Brandon Moreno cannot rely on the judges should the fight be a close contest. He tweeted the following:
"Moreno and Figgy. Other than the 2nd fight, it’s been a very closely contested scorecard. With this fight being in Brazil, I feel like Moreno will need a finish or a dominant performance. Because a pro-Brazil crowd will certainly have an effect on the close judging, IMO."

Brazilians are known for their passionate support of their native MMA fighters, and UFC 283 should be a rowdy affair with all 15 fights containing a Brazilian fighter.
Michael Bisping predicts Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Brandon Moreno
Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo will compete in the co-main event of UFC 283 in the first ever quadrilogy in UFC history.
'God of War' last fought on January 22nd 2022, against none other than Moreno. But the Mexican faced Kai Kara-France at UFC 277, where he won the interim title, and Michael Bisping believes that Moreno's freshness may help him this weekend.
'The Count' also noted the age difference between the two flyweights, as 'The Assassin Baby' is 29, whereas Figueiredo is 35 years old. Bisping thinks could affect his abilities in the octagon.
But in the mind of 'The Count,' the overall difference-maker will come down to whoever has been able to make the right adjustments to their game after facing the same opponent three times.
Bisping broke down the matchup on his YouTube channel and said this:
"This fight ultimately though - for the fourth time - is going to come down to who has had the ability to extract more information about their opponent than the other one. And then, who has got the ability to make that information work for them. What is my opponent good at? What is he bad at? I think that man is going to be Brandon Moreno, I think he has a more analytical mind."
