A senior combat sports analyst Luke Thomas recently mentioned Conor McGregor while shedding light on Dana White's mystery fight for this year. At the end of 2024, the UFC CEO told the journalists that he was working on an important fight for 2025 which kept the fans excited.
While sharing his opinion on the said fight, Thomas offered his eye-opening speculation and mentioned McGregor as a potential part of the plan. Besides McGregor, he mentioned names of Nate Diaz to Deontay Wilder as well.
Talking to Tim Welch on his podcast, Redhawk Recap #170, Thomas was asked by Welch about the fight to which he replied:
"It's not gonna be Fedor, probably not gonna be Brock, I'm gonna guess something...Conor, Nate three related I think, something like that...Maybe a Deontay, but I don't know if he wants to. I mean Deontay is pretty fried. Deontay Wilder after all that how I ask my man is just not the same. Dude is straight up, he's just cooked at this point, God bless him. Something like that, I think Conor, Nate related."
