The MMA world recently suffered the loss of former UFC star Guilherme Vasconcelos. The news of the 38-year-old's passing away was initially shared by his family via social media, with the cause of death still unknown. He was notably in a relationship with former Disney superstar Demi Lovato from 2016 to 2017.
'Bomba' had a professional record of 10-6, with five knockouts and five submissions under his belt. He joined the UFC after appearing on the third season of 'The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil' in 2014 and went 1-1 on the reality show. After signing with the promotion, he fought Luke Zachrich at UFC 175 and lost the fight via unanimous decision. The UFC released him after this loss.
After news of his untimely death broke, several MMA stars took to social media to share their condolences and sympathies. Former UFC star Vinny Magalhaes posted a picture of Vasconcelos on Instagram. He wrote in the caption:
"I rarely make posts like this, and honestly, I never imagined I'd make a post like this for a guy as good as you. Rest in peace, my friend, hope you find the peace you've been looking for on the other side."
