MMA world reacts to Craig Jones' six-word NSFW joke about Luke Rockhold grappling session

Australian grappler Craig Jones has a demonstrated knack for humor with a self-deprecating touch. This time around, he got former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold to deliver a six-word NSFW joke.

Jones posted a picture on Instagram with Rockhold following a grappling session with a seemingly risque caption. He wrote:

"Nobody won, but we both finished."

The MMA world reacted to the joke well aware of Jones' comedic flair. One fan joked:

Earlier this year, Jones made news when he announced that he had secured a total of $3,000,000 in funding to host his grappling tournament. The event will be contested in two divisions at under and over 80kg, with $10,001 for each competitor to show, and another $1,000,000 as the grand prize for each winner.

The event is scheduled to take place on Aug.16-17, in direct competition with the 2024 ADCC World Championship.

Kenta Iwamoto snubs ADCC 2024 to enter Craig Jones Invitational

Japanese grappling sensation Kenta Iwamoto became the latest entrant to snub ADCC 2024 to participate in the Craig Jones Invitational.

Iwamoto was poised to compete in the 77kg division at ADCC 2024. He secured his berth with victories at the Asia and Oceania Trials in 2023. This year would've marked his third time competing at an ADCC world championship.

However, it looks like Iwamoto was lured by the million-dollar prize available for the winner at the Craig Jones Invitational. He is expected to compete in the under 80kg bracket, where he will be joining fellow ADCC Asia and Oceania Trials winner Levi Jones-Leary.

The Japanese grappler took to Instagram to announce his participation, writing:

"I was chosen as one of the 16 people who were given a chance to become a millionaire in one day. If the reason I have been chosen poses as a question as to whether I can do it, I am going to answer that I will. And once this is over, I’ll be spending my days frolicking with girls in a garden in a faraway heavenly land."
