The next fight in the career of Mohamed Younes Rabah brings about some serious change for the Muay Thai striker. At ONE 169, he makes the move up a division to join the featherweight ranks after joining the promotion as a bantamweight.
Though his size and power was a big asset at bantamweight, competing to the best of his ability simply wasn't an option with how much he was giving up in order to hit the weight limit and pass his hydration test.
On Nov. 8, Younes Rabah will face off with Eddie Abasolo at Lumpinee Stadium in a fight that is sure to be dynamite from start to finish.
Everything looks to be going to plan for the Algerian contender, who is loving life as a featherweight now that hitting the bantamweight mark isn't constantly on his mind.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, he spoke about his rejuvenated mindset heading into this showdown in Bangkok, Thailand:
"This fight is very important to me. I prepared very well. I feel amazing. I could eat everything, I am happy, and I enjoyed it."
Now we get to find out what Mohamed Younes Rabah is capable of
Despite the fact that we have seen Mohamed Younes Rabah compete under the ONE Championship banner twice, we still have so much to learn about him.
Both of his fights with Saemapetch Fairtex are somewhat hard to evaluate, partly because they ended so early.
The first fight was controversial after Younes Rabah stepped in and missed weight but went on to stop his opponent.
In the rematch, Saemapetch got his revenge and it was clear that his opponent needed to move up a weight class in order to perform at his best.
We now get to find out where he fits in the featherweight division and Eddie Abasolo is a perfect opponent to test that.
