Malaysian-American Muay Thai sensation Johan Ghazali plans to play the matador role in his upcoming flyweight Muay Thai showdown against Johan Estupinan on Jan. 24 at ONE 170, which goes down inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Acknowledging the aggressiveness and all-out attack approach of his Colombian opposition, Ghazali plans to rely on his technical ability to set up a trap and potentially secure a knockout finish against Estupinan.

'Jojo' discussed this during his recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, where he stated:

"I think up against someone who loves going forward, I will have to rely on a more technical approach. A bit more calculated and patient. That will help me set up my knockouts the longer the match progresses."

Johan Ghazali is coming off a bounce-back win against Josue Cruz last Sept. 7 at ONE 168: Denver with a first-round knockout to return to the winner's circle and collect his sixth triumph under the world's largest martial arts organization.

Johan Ghazali says that moving to Superbon Training Camp is a no-brainer for him to improve his skills

As early as now, the teenage phenom has recognized that if he wants to achieve his goal of becoming a world champion, he needs to train with some of the best fighters on the planet.

This is why he decided to move to Bangkok, Thailand, and join the Superbon Training Camp.

Johan Ghazali is now under the guidance and tutelage of Trainer Gae, Superbon, and Nong-O Hama.

He explained this decision in a recent interview with ONE Championship by saying:

"Obviously, now that the level I'm fighting at is getting higher, I need to improve my skills. I knew that the best decision I could make for my career was to move to Thailand and train alongside the best."

ONE 170 will be available at watch.onefc.com. The exciting event goes down inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 24.
