Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao believes Liam Harrison has what it takes to take down the seemingly indestructible Seksan.

Harrison, who's coming off a nearly two-year-long injury layoff, will face Seksan in a catchweight Muay Thai match at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 at Ball Arena in Colorado.

In an interview with social media channel Muay Thai, Sam-A said Harrison's style is perfectly suited for the four-ounce gloves where power would translate at a better rate than in traditional boxing gloves.

He pointed out:

"I still think Liam Harrison. If they're fighting, because [they would use] small gloves. I think Liam is good. More power, yes. Maybe [a knockout, too]. But if it's five rounds with big gloves, I think Seksan."

Sam-A even shared that he nearly fought Seksan during their younger years before Lumpinee Boxing Stadium transferred to its current location in 2014.

He said:

"I have one guy before [who I wanted to fight] in the old Lumpinee. I have met with Seksan but we never fought because we had different promoters, so we could not fight."

Sam-A is considered one of the greatest Muay Thai artists of all time and he amassed a preposterous mark of 373 wins in his career.

He also held the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title, the ONE strawweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles, and three Lumpinee Stadium world titles in his iconic career.

Sam-A names Jonathan Haggerty, Tawanchai as two of the best Muay Thai fighters of the current era

Sam-A can proudly proclaim that he is one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters ever, and he can also give a similar distinction to the current crop of artists.

In a previous clip from the Muay Thai Instagram channel, Sam-A said Jonathan Haggerty and Tawanchai PK Saenchai are two of the best fighters in the sport's current generation.

Tawanchai is the reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion while Haggerty holds both the ONE flyweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles.

"Right now, I think, I have Haggerty and Tawanchai. He's a good fighter because he's still young and he's still hungry you know. Body, everything, [both are] very hungry. He still can go more."
