Jimmy Donaldson, aka Mr. Beast, is among the most popular YouTubers ever. However, the content creator has been embroiled in controversy after one of his collaborators, Ava Kris Tyson, was accused of allegedly grooming minors online.
The co-host on Mr. Beast's YouTube channel has stepped down following serious allegations of reportedly sending inappropriate messages to a minor when she was 20. The controversy enraged Jake Shields, a former UFC fighter who's firmly against left-wing politics.
Shields went on the Fight Back podcast and discussed the situation with Stew Peters, voicing his frustration with it:
"Pushing the trans stuff. I mean he was defending it until he couldn't defend anymore. By the way, how did he get big? How is he No. 1 in the world?"

Peters questioned Donaldson's alleged inaction on such a serious matter and why he hadn't notified the police sooner. Shields responded by quoting the YouTuber:
"He put out something this morning saying, 'Oh, I am gonna hire my own independent people to look into it.' To look at what?"
He added:
"And they’re putting tr*nnies in female jails now. It’s completely, like, that’s the thing too, like, no one, even liberal people don’t like this stuff. They don’t want tr*nnies in sports, they don’t want ‘em in jails now, but they’re too cowardly to say anything."
The 45-year-old shared the clip from the podcast, captioning it with a phrase that he has been reiterating for quite some time now:
"Stop normalizing transgenderism"
Netizens disappointed with how Mr. Beast has handled the situation
The controversy surrounding Mr. Beast has sparked numerous debates across the internet. Some Reddit users, also known as Redditors, have their own criticisms against the YouTuber, mainly that he is allegedly a manipulative person who does not take accountability for his mistakes.
A Redditor u/Rawr_NuzzlesYou shared a post on the platform claiming that he has "lost all respect" for Mr. Beast after he reportedly pretended to be unaware of the Ava Kris Tyson situation:
"First he lied about not knowing about the Kris allegations, then took down the website with the Discord messages, as well as sending a cease and desist to the person who made that website and another one to DogPack404. Not to mention, how terribly he ran everything with Beast Games and seemingly failed to take any accountability. He's now started tripling down and has turned his comments section and subreddit into 1984," wrote u/Rawr_NuzzlesYou.
While the post has over 2,300 likes at the time of writing, Mr. Beast has addressed the situation in many tweets and has, since then, removed Tyson from his company and channel.
