Liam Harrison knows that he's on the back nine of his combat sports career, but that doesn't mean he's counting down the days to retirement.
More than two years removed from his last appearance inside the circle, Harrison will make his highly anticipated return on Friday, September 6, when he squares off against Thai superstar Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver.
Now 38 years old, 'Hitman' recognizes that his days of being able to compete are numbered, but he plans on squeezing every bit of juice that's left out of his chosen career.

But even when the time comes to hang up his four-ounce gloves, Harrison knows there's still some work he can do in the sweet science:
"I don't know when I'm going to retire, to be fair," Harrison said on The FullerWatt Podcast. "We'll see how this next fight goes. I’m gonna take it step by step, but really, I don’t ever want to f***ing retire.
"I've got some other things up my sleeve, I've been talking like some boxing fights and things like that for good money and stuff, so I'll still be able to compete."

Liam Harrison fighting for the first time since undergoing knee surgery
After earning a pair of sensational first-round knockouts against Mohammed Bin Mahmoud and Muangthai, Liam Harrison earned his first opportunity at a ONE world title. He challenged Nong-O Hama for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai crown.
Unfortunately, things did not go his way.
Two minutes into the title tilt, Nong-O uncorked a leg kick that took Liam Harrison off his feet and prevented him from answering the referee's count. As it turns out, Harrison's knee was so damaged that he would need surgery and nearly two years of rehab.
Now, the British fan favorite is 100 percent ready to get back to work as he takes on one of ONE Championship's most exciting strikers in Seksan.
Will the 'Hitman' return to the win column for the first time since April 2022, or will 'The Man Who Yields To No One' earn his 202nd career win by spoiling Harrison's comeback?
We'll soon find out.
