ONE Championship has seen an exponential amount of growth in recent years — a trend CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong expects to continue as the promotion establishes a footprint around the world.

After dominating the combat sports scene in Asia for years, ONE Championship made its critically acclaimed U.S. debut at ONE Fight Night 10 in May 2023, followed by a massive event, ONE 166: Qatar earlier this year. Speaking with the South China Morning Post, Sityodtong spoke about ONE's overall growth and their plan to put on regular events in the United States.

Chatri Sityodtong also teased a potential show in London's legendary Wembley Stadium with two of its biggest stars in tow.

"We are going to be doing U.S. events on a quarterly basis, at a minimum," Chatri Sityodtong said. "Starting with this Denver onwards. We’ll be on ground in the US on a quarterly basis, ideally on a monthly basis. A lot of plans around the world. I still think we can sell out Wembley Arena easily with a Haggerty vs. Liam Harrison in the UK.

"There’s just so much opportunity. Our fanbase is rabid, it’s exploding everywhere. Just people gravitating to the fact that we’re the home of martial arts and we have these multiple combat sports at the very highest levels of the world."

Chatri Sityodtong delivers massive ONE 168 card to the United States on September 6

ONE Championship will return to the United States on Friday, September 6 for a loaded night of fights in The Mile High City — Denver, Colorado. Emanating from Ball Arena, ONE 168 will be headlined by a champion vs. champion clash as ONE atomweight MMA world champion Stamp Fairtex challenges the first and only strawweight MMA queen in ONE history, Xiong Jing Nan.

In the co-main event of the evening, two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty puts his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title on the line against Thai sensation Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Submission grappling fans won't be left out as Mikey Musumeci moves up three weight classes to challenge Kade Ruotolo for the ONE lightweight submission grappling crown. If Musumeci is victorious, he will become the promotion's first-ever two-division grappling champ.

Rounding out the card will be Liam Harrison as he takes on Seksan Or Kwanmuang in a massive bantamweight clash in the art of eight limbs.
