“Yes, this is like, right before summer. I just broke up with him ’cause I was like, I just need more time with myself. I just need to discover who I am. I wanna be alone. I want to just focus on myself.”
The decision wasn’t easy, but Thomas shared that it ultimately aligned with her journey:
“As hard as it was to lose him and lose each other, I feel like it’s all God’s plan. It works out in the end. Yeah. Look where we are now.”

Sydney Thomas wants to challenge "Pretty Blonde" stereotype
Sydney Thomas is using her newfound fame to shatter stereotypes. Addressing her followers on TikTok, Thomas emphasized that there’s more to her than her striking appearance.
"I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and I went to Alabama for college, and I'm still in school studying management and entrepreneurship. Technically a junior, but I'm gonna be finishing a year early, so I'll be done in August, which is exciting. I do all my classes online to be able to travel and have more flexibility in my schedule."
Thomas has amassed a substantial social media following since the high-profile event but remains intent on proving her intelligence alongside her beauty. She pointed to her academic achievements, noting she scored a 33 on her ACT and has balanced rigorous studies with a flexible lifestyle.
"Contrary to popular opinion or popular belief, I actually am smart. People kind of get the image of pretty blonde, doesn't have a brain, but I got a 33 on my ACT in high school, and I'm finishing college a year early, so take it as you want."
