18-year-old Malaysian striking sensation 'Jojo' Johan Ghazali has had a breakout year, making his mark in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Despite suffering the first loss of his professional career, the Rentap Muaythai Gym representative came back with a vengeance -- and more experience -- which made all the difference as he became a better fighter.
However, Ghazali has bigger plans for the next 12 months that have his fans excited, especially those back home.
In a recent interview with ONE Championship, Ghazali says he is looking to break into the flyweight Muay Thai elite and bring the promotion back to Kuala Lumpur.

'Jojo' said:
"I think 2024 was a very successful year. My biggest goal next year is to be at least top-five ranked in the flyweight division and spread my influence throughout Malaysia."
Ghazali has now won six of his last seven fights in ONE Championship.
In 2024, he suffered a defeat against Vietnamese veteran Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat. That fight took place at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II on Prime Video last June in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ghazali then bounced back in a big way, taking out Mexican star Josue Cruz with a scintillating first-round knockout at ONE 168: Denver at the famous Ball Arena.
Now, the Malaysian star promises to continue his rise in the coming year and make even more waves.
