Johan Ghazali spent some time with family following his big win at ONE 168: Denver and got a very honest review from his brother.
After suffering his first loss inside the Circle in June, 'Jojo' once again strapped on the four-ounce gloves at Ball Arena for a clash with Mexican slugger Josue Cruz. Though Ghazali faced some early adversity, he returned to the win column in spectacular fashion, securing a buzzer-beaking KO against 'Tuzo' in The Mile High City.
Despite getting the win, Johan Ghazali was greeted with some constructive criticism while catching up with his sibling following fight night.

"Yeah, I went out [to meet my siblings] just now and my brother said I fought like a dumba**," Ghazali said in a recent interview with Alex Wendling. "So it's never going away. It's good for me, it's good for mental strength, you know. But it is what it is."
With the win, 'Jojo' moved to 6-1 under the ONE Championship banner with all but one of his victories coming by way of KO/TKO.
Johan Ghazali wants Denis Puric next
With another big win under his belt, Johan Ghazali believes he's ready for a step up in competition. Specifically, the Malaysian-American wants to throw hands with 'The Bosnian Menace' Denis Puric.
"Nobody wants to see someone tip-tap toe to a decision win," Ghazali said at the ONE 168: Denver post-fight press conference. "This is just not entertaining. That's exactly why I want to call out Denis Puric. I want to fight Denis Puric."
However, Puric thinks that the 17-year-old phenom may be biting off a bit more than he's ready to chew.
"This guy, you went and beat up a couple of bums, and now you think you're ready for this level? You're not ready for this level, man," Puric said on Instagram. "You haven't beaten anybody. You haven't beaten anybody that's a somebody, okay?"
Is Ghazali vs. Puric the fight to make following the events of ONE 168: Denver?
