Thai legend Petchtanong Petchfergus expects his vast experience to play a big role in his return to the ring this Friday night.
On Dec. 6, the former WBC and WMC Muay Thai world champion will return to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand for a high-stakes bantamweight kickboxing scrap against Algerian-Thai prospect Nabil Anane at ONE Fight Night 26 on Prime Video.
Petchtanong, 39, is 19 years older than his 20-year-old opposition — a fact that has many fight fans counting him out. However, the Thai believes his vast experience, which includes 359 career wins, is not to be overlooked.

Speaking to the Bangkok Post during an open workout at Superbon Training Camp, Petchtanong said:
"Actually, my only disadvantage would be my age and height, but believe me, my experience is not to be underestimated".
Petchatong goes into the fight having won three straight, including impressive performances against Zhang Chenglong, Hiroki Akimoto, and Alaverdi Ramazanov. Those wins have him sitting as the third-ranked contender in the bantamweight kickboxing division.
With a win over Anane, could solidify himself as the next man in line for a shot at the weight class' reigning titleholder, Jonathan Haggerty.
Nabil Anane looks for his sixth straight win against Petchtanong at ONE Fight Night 26
While Petchtanong's resume and recent success speaks for itself, fight fans are especially excited about the future of Nabil Anane.
Storming into ONE Championship last year, Anane went toe-to-toe with 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE Friday Fights 22. And while Anane came up short against the two-sport king, he has bounced back with five straight victories, including a pair of highlight-reel knockouts against Nakrob Fairtex and Kulabdam sor Jor Piek Uthai.
In his last two outings, Anane has bested former ONE world title challenger Felipe Lobo and Lethwei legend Soe Lin Oo. Will he make it six in a row and work his into the bantamweight kickboxing rankings, or will Petchatnong halt the young gun's momentum and improve his chances for a future shot at 26 pounds of ONE gold?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 26 live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Dec. 6 in U.S. primetime.
