At 34 years old, former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker is still eager to continue his quest to reclaim the crown despite his status as one of the fastest-rising stars in the Muay Thai ranks.
Speaking exclusively with the world's largest martial arts promotion, Lineker shared:
"Right now, I just want to do these super fights, especially to keep myself active. I'm not thinking about continuing with Muay Thai fights and getting a title shot yet. As I said, my focus remains on MMA. I want to fight for the MMA bantamweight title and win the belt again."

Whether or not he gets the opportunity to reclaim the bantamweight MMA gold that Fabricio Andrade currently holds, the Brazilian star could eventually decide to go all-in on his budding Muay Thai career after winning his first two bouts via knockout.
The American Top Team product is seeking his third victory in 'The Art of Eight Limbs' when he trades leather with Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai at ONE Fight Night 27 on Friday, Jan. 10. The event will occur inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Fight Night 27 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

John Lineker is no stranger to getting into absolute barnburners throughout his fighting career, and he promised that his bantamweight Muay Thai bout with 'Left Meteorite' will be added to that list.
In a recent interview with the promotion, Lineker mentioned:
"The fans are going to enjoy it because they like the show and when I step into the cage I try to put on that show. So I believe they are very excited to see me in action again in Muay Thai."
