Superbon expects his strength and stamina to be on point when he steps inside the Circle for a sequel scrap with ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai.

In December 2023, Tawanchai scored a majority decision victory over Superbon to retain his 26 pounds of ONE Championship gold. Now, he'll put his belt on the line once again as the two Thai warriors run it back at ONE 170 this Friday, January 24 at Impact Arena in Bangkok.

Superbon goes into the highly anticipated rematch as the undisputed featherweight kickboxing king, and he feels he is more than prepared to even the series with Tawanchai and leave The Land of Smiles as a two-sport ONE world champion.

"First thing, I am certain that nothing is going to be my obstacle regarding the injury and stuff," Superbon told the promotion in a recent interview. "I’m sure my stamina and power will be 100 percent, which will cause huge and clear differences."

Superbon goes into ONE 170 following a pair of impressive wins, including a first-round knockout against 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut and a dominant title-winning performance against three-time GLORY Kickboxing champion Marat Grigorian at ONE Friday Fights 58 in April.

Superbon always knew he would once again meet Tawanchai inside the Circle

Even after he came up short against Tawanchai in their first meeting at ONE Friday Fights 46, Superbon knew that their story was far from over.

"I was quite confident there'd be a rematch because the fighters in the same rank and level and Tawanchai and I are rare," he added. "There are a few other ones like Jo [Nattawut] and the others, I think I can defeat those in lower ranks."

Of course, getting a win over Tawanchai is no easy task. In fact, nobody has been able to do it in nearly five years.

Tawanchai goes into his latest ONE featherweight Muay Thai title defense on a seven-fight win streak, his most recent W coming against the aforementioned Jo Nattawut at ONE 167 in June. Before that, he bagged victories over names like Jamal Yusupov, Davit Kiria, Petchmorakot, and Saemapetch Fairtex.

Will Tawanchai add a second career win over Superbon at ONE 170, or will the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion even the series and bring home his first Muay Thai title?
